The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of West Aceh Regency deployed dozens of personnel to evacuate victims of an oxygen cylinder explosion in a warehouse in Gampa Village, Johan Pahlawan District, Meulaboh, today.
"Two victims died," said West Aceh BPBD Head Teuku Ronal Nehdiansyah in Meulaboh, Antara, Wednesday, November 5.
Based on the results of the evacuation in the field, the total number of victims was three people; two died and one survived.
"One victim survived, but we are still investigating the identities of the victims," he said.
In addition to evacuating victims, the West Aceh BPBD also handled the scene with three fire fleets and one ambulance to take the victim to the nearest health facility.
