Mataram Prosecutor's Office Finds State Loss Of IDR 980 Million In Corruption Cases In West Lombok Pecatu Land

The Mataram District Attorney (Kejari), West Nusa Tenggara, found state financial losses of Rp. 980 million in a case of alleged corruption involving an official from the West Lombok National Land Agency (BPN) related to the sale of chess land in Bagik Polak Village.

The Head of the Mataram Prosecutor's Office, I Gde Made Pasek Swardhayana, said the value of the loss was based on the results of an audit by the NTB Representative Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP).

"The value of the loss of Rp. 980 million is seen from the selling price of land which is the object of the case," said Made Pasek in Mataram, Antara, Wednesday, November 5.

With the results of the audit, the Mataram Kejari will immediately complete the case files before being transferred to the court.

"When it is finished, we will arrange an indictment to be transferred to the court," he said.

In the investigation process, the Mataram Kejari has taken a number of legal steps, ranging from the search of the West Lombok BPN office to the determination and detention of the suspect.

There are two suspects in this case, namely the Head of Bagik Polak Village, Amir Amraen Putra, and Baiq Mahyuniaati Fitria, the former Head of the West Lombok BPN Dispute Control and Handling Section.

The land of fire covering an area of 3,757 square meters which is the object of the case has been confiscated and secured by the prosecutor's office.

"The land that we secure will be restored at that price and returned to the local government," said Made Pasek.

Dalam penyidikan perkara ini, kejaksaan sempat digugat melalui praperadilan oleh tersangka Baiq Mahyuniati. Namun, majelis hakim menolak gugatan tersebut dan menyatakan penetapan serta penahanan tersangka sah secara hukum.

In investigating this case, the prosecutor's office was sued through pretrial by the suspect Baiq Mahyuniati. However, the panel of judges rejected the lawsuit and declared the determination and detention of the suspect legally valid.
