JAKARTA - Three people caught in a hand arrest operation (OTT) in Riau Province have arrived at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta today, November 4. One of them is Riau Governor Abdul Wahid.

From field observations, Abdul Wahid arrived at the anti-corruption commission office at 09.35 WIB with the Head of PUPR Riau Province Arief Setiawan and the Secretary of the Riau Province PUPR (Sekdis) Ferry Yunanda accompanied by officers.

Abdul was seen wearing a white plain shirt and his face was covered with a mask. While the other two people walked behind him.

Just like Abdul, Arief and Syahrial's faces were also covered with masks and one of them was also wearing a gray scarf jacket.

Abdul Wahid made no statement. He chose to hurry into the building and go up to the examination floor.

The KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said 9 of the 10 people who were arrested during the hand arrest operation (OTT) were taken to Jakarta. "Investigators then carried out intensive examinations of the parties who were secured and today the parties who were secured will be taken to the KPK's Red and White Building," he told reporters.

"There are nine people out of 10 arrested who will then be taken to the KPK's Red and White Building," he continued.

Previously reported, the KPK held a hand arrest operation (OTT) in Riau Province on Monday, November 3. There were 10 people who were arrested and found money of up to hundreds of millions of rupiah.

It has not been detailed about the transaction that led to the silent operation. The KPK said all information would be submitted through a press conference after the inspection was carried out.
