JAKARTA - Ukraine will set up offices for joint arms exports and production in Berlin and Copenhagen this year, President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Monday.

Speaking to reporters in Kyiv, President Zelensky said naval drones and artillery systems were among Kyiv exportable weapons.

"This (regarding) joint production and export of weapons that we can sell on our own, in order to have more funds for the internal production of deficit goods that we don't have funds for," he said.

Kyiv is boosting its fast-growing domestic defense industry with the help of its Western partners, in an effort to fend off Russian troops in a war that has entered its fourth year.

However, Kyiv still relies on its allies for weapons such as fighter jets and air defense systems, but has made progress in developing its drone and missile programs.

President Zelensky added that Ukraine plans to launch mass production of its domestic production missiles - Flamingo and Ruta - by the end of this year.

He added that the Ukrainian delegation will visit Washington next week for further talks on the US-Ukraine unmanned aircraft deal that Kyiv hopes will strengthen relations with the United States Government brought by President Donald Trump.
