JAKARTA - Rain accompanied by lightning is predicted to occur in several areas of Jakarta on Saturday afternoon.

The weather conditions occurred in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta and East Jakarta.

Meanwhile, the City of North Jakarta is predicted to experience moderate rain and light rain in the Thousand Islands Regency.

Quoting Antara, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) stated that the rainy conditions continued until Saturday afternoon, with a number of areas predicted to experience light rain, namely Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, East Jakarta, South Jakarta, and North Jakarta.

Meanwhile, the Thousand Islands Regency will be shrouded in thick clouds in the afternoon.

Moving into the evening, light rain is expected to still flush West Jakarta and South Jakarta. Meanwhile, Central Jakarta and North Jakarta are predicted to be cloudy and East Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are expected to be shrouded in thick clouds on Saturday night.

Furthermore, on Sunday morning, all areas in DKI Jakarta will be shrouded in thick clouds.

The temperature in DKI Jakarta is estimated to range from 24 to 29 degrees Celsius.
