Couples In Karawang Give Birth To Newborn Baby's Mouth As A Result Of Dark Relations To Death

The Karawang Police have arrested a couple who have the heart to throw away their baby from their illicit relationship, in Tiramulya District, Karawang Regency, West Java (West Java).

The Karawang Police Chief, AKBP Fiki Ardiansyah, said that the action of a couple throwing away the baby resulting from an illicit relationship was revealed after the discovery of a baby's body in Pasirtanjung Village, Karawang.

The baby with the male gender was found in a mouth condition covered with duct tape, with the condition of death. Residents found the baby wrapped in a black backpack on Saturday, October 25.

The police chief previously said that residents around Lemakabang Subdistrict were in a commotion over the discovery of a dead baby, until they finally reported the incident to the police.

After receiving reports from the public, the Karawang Police then conducted a crime scene for investigation purposes. In addition, evidence collection was also carried out.

Then from the results of the investigation, it was finally revealed that the perpetrators of throwing away the baby were a couple, a man with the initials MRB (20) and a woman with the initials RDL (22).

According to the Police Chief, the two of them were not husband and wife, but a couple who previously had a relationship like husband and wife, until finally the woman became pregnant.

From the information of the RDL perpetrator, the baby was born in his house and then the two perpetrators immediately covered the baby's mouth with duct tape. So the baby couldn't breathe until he finally died.

Then after that the two perpetrators wrapped the baby in a black and blue cloth and put the victim in a red bag, then put it in a black backpack.

The perpetrator dumped it in the Kampung Kalen Kupu area, Tirtamulya District, Karawang, which is about 5 kilometers from the location where the birth gave birth.

"In less than 1x24 hours, officers arrested the perpetrators in their respective homes," he said in Karawang, Tuesday, which was confiscated by Antara.

The perpetrator with the initials MRB was arrested in Badminton Hamlet, Tirtamulya District, and the perpetrator RDL was arrested at his home in Pasirtanjung Hamlet, Lemakabang District, Karawang.

"Now the perpetrators are being held at the Karawang Police Headquarters detention center. Both of them are threatened with Article 80 paragraph (3) of Law 35/2014 concerning violence against children, causing death. The threat is 15 years in prison," he said.
