Disturbed See Transjakarta Bus Parking In Blok M, Pramono: We Are Responsible For Organizing To Be Orderly

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung is aware that the public and road users are disturbed by Transjakarta buses parked in the Blok M area, South Jakarta. The Transjakarta bus is parked on the side of Jalan Panglima Polim and its surroundings because it does not serve passengers.

"If we see, what is the problem with Blok M? I can see that this Transjakarta car parking must be disturbing," said Pramono at M Bloc Space, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Monday, October 27.

Pramono emphasized that he would order PT Transjakarta to control Transjakarta buses that often park on the side of the road in the Blok M area so that they no longer interfere with traffic.

"That's it, later it will be our responsibility to be able to rearrange so that something like this is orderly," said Pramono.

Blok M became one of the areas that Pramono paid attention to while leading Jakarta. Pramono wants to make Blok M an epicenter or meeting point for community interactions to other commercial activities.

"In Blok M there is Blok M Hub. The place where people from various filling pots come to Jakarta with different cultures. Then, there will be a Literacy Park that will open 24 hours. Yesterday, I also agreed to the library, it was opened 24 hours," explained Pramono.

Therefore, the DKI Provincial Government also continues to add public transportation routes to and from Blok M, such as Transjabodetabek services with the Blok M-Bogor route, Blok M-Alam Sutera, to Blok M-PIK 2.

"Right now, almost all facilities are heading to Blok M. Why do we do that? Indeed, we want to make Blok M alive and lively again," said Pramono.

Given the large number of transportation services such as Transjakarta and MRT Jakarta that cross the Blok M area, Pramono also appealed to the public to use public transportation, along with traffic and parking arrangements to be carried out.

"Because in Blok M, transportation is generally easy and easy, come to Blok M using public transportation. There must be no traffic jams," he added.
