Job Fair Hybrid 12-13 November 2025, Padang City Offers 1,141 Job Vacancies From 44 Companies

There are 1,141 job vacancies formations originating from 44 companies through the 2025 hybrid job fair or job fair which will take place from 12-13 November 2025 facilitated by the Padang City Government, West Sumatra (West Sumatra).

"The total available vacancies reached 1,141 formations, consisting of 916 job vacancies from the company and 225 formations offered by the job training agency," said Head of the Padang City Manpower and Industry Service (Disnakerin) Ferry Erviyan Rinaldy in Padang, reported by ANTARA, Saturday, October 25.

Ferry said the total formation came from 44 companies that had confirmed their participation in the hybrid job fair, including five job training institutions. This job exchange will be centered at the Padang Youth Center Building with the theme Find Your Job Next Step to Your Career.

Ferry said the theme illustrates that job fair is not only a place to find work, but also a first step for job seekers to develop and develop careers professionally according to their talents, interests and competencies.

In general, he said, this year's job fair hybrid is one of the strategic programs of the Padang City Government in an effort to reduce the unemployment rate, which is currently still at 9.86 percent.

"Job fair hybrid 2025 is a form of the local government's commitment to helping the community to get a job. We hope that this activity will be able to open up the widest possible job opportunities for job seekers in Padang City," he said.

Moreover, in the midst of various economic challenges, the government is actually still trying to present activities that have a direct impact on the community, especially job seekers who need access to information and wider job opportunities.

"It feels heavy, especially in collecting job vacancies. However, we are sure that we can meet the scale and standards that have been set so that this job fair remains of high quality and beneficial for the community," he said.

Job fair hybrid 2025 will be filled with various supporting agendas that provide added value for participants such as seminars and career motivation, technical guidance in dealing with job interviews and employment consulting services.

"So the hybrid concept that was re-implemented this year is to provide convenience for job seekers both from within and outside the city," he said.
