Police Arrest Women With Sex In Lovers In Bandar Lampung, The Motive Is Heartache

The unstoppable heartache made a young woman in Bandar Lampung commit a reckless act that resulted in a serious crime. The woman with the initials WD (28) had the heart to slash her lover's genitals, K (32), during an intimate relationship at Baruna Square, Panjang District, Sunday night, October 19. The brutal action was carried out because the perpetrator felt betrayed after his lover married another woman.

The incident began when WD contacted K to meet at a location where they were often alone. Without suspicion, the victim agreed to the invitation. When the two were having sex, the perpetrator took out a cutter knife that had been prepared beforehand and immediately slashed the victim's genitals until it almost broke.

In a condition covered in blood, the victim ran for help from local residents before finally being rushed to Abdul Moeloek Hospital for emergency surgery. The police who arrived at the location put up a police line and secured a number of evidences, including a red cutter knife and clothes belonging to the victim and the perpetrator.

According to the Head of the Panjang Police, Kompol Martono, the action was planned for a long time ago. "The perpetrator has been preparing a knife since a week earlier. The motive is because of heartache, the victim, who has been in a relationship since 2019, actually married another woman," said Martono in his statement, Thursday, October 23.

WD was arrested at his home in the Bumi Waras area on Tuesday morning without a fight. During the examination, he admitted that his actions were motivated by feelings of disappointment and inner turmoil because he felt cheated. "I've been with him for six years. But he lied, promised to marry me, it turned out that he married another woman," said WD with a trembling voice in front of investigators.

He also admitted that the action was taken so that the victim could no longer play with other women. "I was spontaneous at that time, but I brought the cutter," he said.

Meanwhile, the victim is still undergoing intensive care at the hospital. The police also plan to check the mental condition of the perpetrator in order to complete the investigation process.

For his actions, WD was charged with Article 353 of the Criminal Code regarding the persecution of planning to in conjunction with Article 351 paragraph (2) concerning persecution that caused serious injuries, with a maximum penalty of seven years in prison.
