Recovering From Health Disorders, Emil Dardak Returns To Activities With Limited Ritme

Deputy Governor of East Java Emil Elestianto Dardak began to return to his activities after experiencing health problems and being diagnosed with suspect bronchitis based on the results of a pulmonary X-ray examination.

"It has started activities since yesterday morning, although it still maintains rhythm and intensity," said Emil Dardak when contacted in Surabaya, Antara, Thursday, October 23.

Emil said he had started paying for his activities as Deputy Governor of East Java since last Wednesday, by attending the East Java Investment Summit which was held with Bank Indonesia.

And in the evening following the great prayer commemorating the Anniversary of East Java Province and Santri Day with Muhammad Iqdam Kholid (Gus Iqdam) clerics at the Grahadi State Building.

"Yesterday it was still reducing long trips, but this morning it has represented the Governor of East Java following the National Conference of the Association of Indonesian Provincial Governments (APPSI) in Jakarta," said Emil.

Previously, through an upload on his personal Instagram account, @emildardak, on Monday (20/10) night, Emil admitted that he had experienced a health problem and was asked by the doctor to rest after the lung X-ray showed indications of bronchitis.

He suspects that the condition was caused by exposure to factors that interfered with the respiratory tract due to the heavy activity in recent times.

I was recently asked by the doctor to rest because the results of the pulmonary X-ray showed bronchitis suspect. This is thought to be due to exposure to several respiratory tract disorders from several intensive activities some time ago," Emil wrote in his upload.

Emil was also absent from the prayer show with Habib Syech bin Abdul Qodir Assegaf at the Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School, Kediri, which he was supposed to attend to welcome National Santri Day 2025. He admitted that he had said goodbye directly to KH M. Anwar Manshur and Gus Adib, the caretaker of the Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School.

"Alhamdulillah, I can say goodbye directly to Kiai Anwar Manshur and Gus Adib (Lirboyo Succession), for permission to miss out from tonight's activity," Emil wrote.

In the upload, Emil also reminded the people of East Java to maintain health in the midst of increasing cases of respiratory tract diseases due to weather changes.

"Thank you for taking care of your health, now you are indeed increasing various diseases related to the respiratory tract," he said.

He closed the upload with the prayer that the caregivers and students of Ponpes Lirboyo would always be in the protection of Allah SWT.
