The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said investigators did not only ask for information from Fitri Assiddik as a private party in the corruption case of Bank Indonesia's CSR (BI)-Financial Services Authority (OJK) funds. The search was also said to have been carried out at his home to look for evidence on Monday, October 20.

"Because it is suspected that there was a flow of funds originating from CSR BI to his staff, then investigators conducted a search at his place, at his house," said Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu to reporters quoted on Wednesday, October 22.

From the search, investigators later found a white-streamed Hyundai Palisaade unit that had been confiscated and learned of the flow of money.

The gift was made because Fitri was the staff of one of the legislators who was a suspect in this case, namely Heri Gunawan.

"And after confirmation and others were made against the staff, the staff of HG's brother, now stated that there was a flow and then bought a car. So it was the car that was then confiscated, brought here," he said.

Meanwhile, KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo explained that the confiscation of the car was carried out by investigators after examining Fitri at the KPK's Merah Putih building.

"The person concerned was examined at K4 after that the team secured the vehicle in question at his house," he said when confirmed separately.

From the examination, investigators also found Fitri was also splashed with Rp2 billion from Heri Gunawan. Then there is another receipt in the form of hundreds of millions of money in rupiah denominations and US dollars and/or Singapore dollars.

Previously reported, the KPK officially announced legislators from the NasDem Satori Party faction and Heri Gunawan, who are legislators of the Gerindra Party faction, as suspects in the alleged corruption of BI CSR funds. Both are suspected of receiving gratuities and committing money laundering (TPPU).

Satori is suspected of receiving a total of IDR 12.52 billion in this case. The details are IDR 6.30 billion from BI; IDR 5.14 billion from OJK through Financial Counseling activities; and IDR 1.04 billion from other working partners of Commission XI of the DPR.

The money is allegedly used for personal needs, such as deposits, land purchases, showroom construction, purchases of two-wheeled vehicles, and purchases of other assets.

Meanwhile, Heri Gunawan received a total of Rp15.86 billion and used it also for personal gain. The details are Rp6.26 billion from BI; Rp7.64 billion from OJK through Financial Counseling activities; and Rp1.94 billion from other working partners of Commission XI DPR.

The money is then accommodated in an account. Heri Gunawan then used it to build restaurants, manage drink outlets, purchase land and buildings to purchase four-wheeled vehicles.
