Prabowo Prepares Budget To Build A National Car Production Factory In 3 Years

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto said that the government had started the first steps to present cars made in Indonesia in the next three years.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it is not yet an achievement, but we have started to getrintis. We will have a car made in Indonesia in the next three years," Prabowo said in an introductory speech to the Plenary Cabinet Session, at the State Palace, Jakarta, Monday, which was confiscated by Antara.

Prabowo said the government had prepared an allocation of funds and land for the construction of factories that would produce domestic vehicles. Currently, the development team is said to be working on preparing this.

Prabowo mengungkapkan bahwa Indonesia telah berhasil memproduksi kendaraan jenis tilapah yang digunakan oleh para pejabat dan perwira TNI. Kendaraan tersebut menjadi pengambangan tersendiri karena dirancang dan dibuat di dalam negeri.

Prabowo's hearse vehicle is a Maung light tactical vehicle produced by PT Pindad.

"So now our officials, our officers are proud that we don't use a smartphone made in other countries. We use our own Indonesian exhaust. Commander of our troops, if you ride a vehicle to lead the troops, he is proud that he uses an Indonesian-made cyclone," said the President.

Presiden Prabowo juga menyampaikan agar penggunaan kendaraan tersebut diterapkan secara luas di lingkungan pemerintahan dan militer.

"And soon you have to use all Maung. I don't want to know, the good cars are used if they are on holiday. Yes, when I don't call you, you can use the car," concluded Prabowo.

It is known that President Prabowo held a Plenary Cabinet Session on one year of his administration.

Different from usual, the President, Vice President, ministers and all invitations wore long brown shirt at this Plenary Cabinet Session.

This is different from the previous Plenary Cabinet Session where the ministers wore white shirts.
