Sung explained that South Korea will focus on repatriating its citizens who will then conduct an domestic investigation regarding those suspected of being involved.

Following up on this action, South Korea will form a special team whose duties are also investigating the kidnapping case that led to the murder of a South Korean student in Cambodia.

The special team led by the South Korean deputy foreign minister is planned to leave for Cambodia on Wednesday evening.
