KPK Cecar Former Director General Of The Ministry Of Manpower Regarding The Flow Of Extortion Money For K3 Certification

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has examined Haiyani Rumondang as the former Director General (Dirjen) of the Directorate General of Manpower Supervision and K3 of the Ministry of Manpower. He was questioned about the flow of money in cases of extortion in the management of work safety and health certification (K3).

Haiyani was examined as a witness at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta on Friday, October 10. KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the flow of money came from the Work Safety and Health Service Company (PJK3).

"Investigators are also exploring the witness' knowledge regarding the receipt of money from the PJK3 party," Budi told reporters in a written statement, Monday, October 13.

As for the announcement of the suspect in this case, the KPK stated that there was a flow of extortion money to several parties. One of them is HR or Haiyani Rumoindang amounting to Rp50 million per week.

However, Haiyani was not detained by the KPK at that time. The KPK only named and detained 11 suspects, one of whom was Immanuel Ebenezer.

Furthermore, Budi also said that investigators were investigating the process of issuing K3 certificates. This step was taken by examining another witness, namely Nila Pratiwi Ichsan as Sub-Coordinator of Quality Assurance for K3 Institutions.

"The two witnesses were present. The witness was criticized regarding the process of issuing the K3 certificate," said Budi.

Previously reported, the KPK named 11 suspects in connection with the alleged extortion of handling work safety and health certificates (K3). This determination began with a hand arrest operation (OTT) that arrested 14 people, including the Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Immanuel Ebenezer.

The following is a list of suspects named by the KPK:

1. Irvian Bobby Mahendro as Coordinator for Institutional and Personnel Affairs K3 for 2022-2025;

2. Gerry Aditya Herwanto Putra as Coordinator for Testing and Evaluation of Work Safety Competence in 2022 until now;

3. Subhan as Sub-Coordinator for Work Safety Dit. Bina K3 for 2020-2025;

4. Anitasari Kusumawati as Coordinator of Partnership and Work Health Personnel in 2020 until now;

5. Immanuel Ebenezer Gerungan as Deputy Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024-2029;

6. Fahrurozi as Director General of Binwasnaker and K3 in March 2025 until now;

7. Hery Sutanto as Director of Institutional Development in 2021-February 2025;

8. Sekarsari Kartika Putri as sub-coordinator;

9. Supriadi as the coordinator;

10. Temurila as the party of PT KEM Indonesia; and

11. Miki Mahfud as the party of PT KEM Indonesia.

In this case, Immanuel Ebenezer is said to have received IDR 3 billion in December 2024 and was used to renovate his house. In addition, he also got one Ducati motorbike.

This gift is said to have come from Irvian, who was called Immanuel as the sultan because he was considered the richest person in the Ministry of Manpower.

In addition, Immanuel Ebenezer, also called the KPK, has acknowledged that there have been receipts during his tenure apart from the extortion of K3 certification from the Ministry of Manpower. This statement was made by the KPK after finding three other cars, namely Mercedes Benz, Land Cruiser, and BAIC which had been hidden from their official residence after OTT.
