Minister Of Religion After The Departure Of Umrah Khadimatul Mosque By AQUA, DMI, And Istiqlal Mosque

JAKARTA - Committed to continue to bring goodness to the people of Indonesia, AQUA is again collaborating with the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) and the Istiqlal Mosque in organizing the Umrah program for the khadimatul of the mosque, which this year began with the release ceremony at the Istiqlal Mosque, Jakarta.

This program continues the benefits received by participants in the first year and is an appreciation for the dedication of the khadimatul mosques throughout Indonesia. This year, 23 khadimatul mosques from various regions in DKI Jakarta and West Java were dispatched to the Holy Land, continuing the success of the previous year's program which had dispatched 20 participants.

Prof. Dr. KH Nasaruddin Umar MA, Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia as well as Grand Imam of the Istiqlal Mosque, expressed his appreciation for the initiative carried out by AQUA with DMI and Istiqlal Mosque.

"In Islamic teachings, we are asked to help and defend the mustadh'afin or the weak. How can we be a solution if it is in difficult circumstances? The presence of a mosque should be a place that functions to help all people," he said, Sunday, October 12.

"Initiatives like this are very noble, because they not only provide an opportunity to worship in the Holy Land, but also become a form of appreciation for the dedication of the khadimatul of the mosque who guards the house of Allah with sincerity. The collaboration between the business world and religious institutions like this shows that the spirit of help-help in goodness can be realized in a real way for the benefit of the people," added Prof. Nasaruddin.

This message is in line with the spirit behind the Umrah khadimatul program of the mosque. Umrah worship has a deep spiritual meaning for Muslims, but not everyone has the opportunity to fulfill it, including the khadimatul of the mosque, which so far has sincerely maintained the cleanliness and comfort of God's house.

As a form of appreciation for their service, AQUA together with DMI and Istiqlal Mosques seeks to facilitate meaningful spiritual journey and provide valuable experience for the participants. At the moment of release at the Istiqlal Mosque, the preacher KH Abdullah Gymnastiar (Aa Gym) was also present to provide prayers and inspiring messages for the congregation who would perform their worship in the Holy Land.

H. Rudiantara, MBA, Deputy Chairperson of DMI, added that this program is in line with the spirit of DMI in empowering people through mosques.

Vera Galuh Sugijanto, VP General Secretary of Danone Indonesia, also added that the Umrah program for Khadimatul Masjid is a form of AQUA's commitment to continue to channel goodness to the people of Indonesia.
