He stated that his party would immediately announce the name of the suspect in the alleged corruption case of Popda funds in Donggala Regency.

"This case is still in the process of being investigated and has not been able to confirm the total loss due to the alleged misuse of Popda funds," he said.

According to him, the Donggala Kejari has examined a number of people who are witnesses in the alleged corruption of Popda funds.

"We have examined 30 witnesses including ASN, third parties to inn providers for athletes during the implementation of the Donggala regional student sports week," he said.

He said the budget for the 2021 Popda Regency fund was IDR 1.1 billion.

"We cannot convey the number of suspects at this time, the point is that the Donggala Kejari continues to carry out law enforcement measures," he said.

It is known that in 2021 the Donggala Regency Government will host the 20th Popda activity which will compete in 16 sports.

The activity was attended by 12 regencies and cities in Central Sulawesi.
