The Attorney General's Office (AGO) revealed that Nadiem Makarim, a suspect in a suspected corruption case in the procurement of a Chromebook laptop at the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2019-2022, had returned to a state detention center (rutan) on Wednesday, October 8 after being hospitalized.
"Nadiem Makarim has finished undergoing hospitalization and is currently at the Salemba Rutan, South Jakarta District Attorney's Branch," said Head of the Attorney General's Office for Legal Information, Anang Supriatna, confirmed in Jakarta, Thursday, as quoted by Antara.
Nadiem's return to the detention center, he said, was carried out after the doctor conducted an examination to ensure his health condition was good.

Nadiem Makarim underwent a suspension of detention at a government hospital after undergoing surgery.
