Karijawa RTH Project In NTB Allegedly Corruption, Kejari Dompu Performs Filling

JAKARTA - The Dompu District Attorney's Office (Kejari) in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) is investigating allegations of corruption in the first phase of the Karijawa Green Open Space (RTH) development project using the 2024 regional budget.

Head of the Intelligence Section of the Dompu Kejari, Joni Eko Waluyo, said that the handling of the case had only been carried out at the investigation stage.

"We are still conducting an investigation," he said in Dompu, Thursday, which was confiscated by Antara.

Dengan mengatakan penanganan masih dalam tahap penyelidikan, Joni Eko menyampaikan bahwa pihaknya belum dapat memberikan keterangan lebih lanjut.

Likewise with the alleged corruption that emerged in project work which cost Rp2.03 billion.

"The point is we are still investigating, the results are waiting for the official release," he said.

Regarding the handling of this case running at the prosecutor's investigation stage, the Head of the Environmental Service (DLH) of Dompu Regency, Jufri, said that it was already from his party who had complied with the invitation to ask for clarification.

"We have clarified it at the prosecutor's office," said Jufri.

In this investigation, it was revealed that the prosecutor's office had conducted a field inspection of the physical condition of the project located on the land of the former SDN 2 Dompu.

Although the first phase of the project is still in the process of being investigated, the Dompu Regency Government continues to develop the second phase of RTH Karijawa this year.

The budget allocated reached Rp2.35 billion from the 2025 APBD. The second phase project was carried out by CV Duta Cevate from West Lombok Regency.

RTH Karijawa is planned to become a new icon of Dompu City with the tower "Nggusu Waru" as a symbol of local culture and is targeted for completion in December 2025.
