The Search For Missing Fishermen In The Waters Of Bokor Island Was Again Carried Out By The SAR Team

The joint team continues the search for one missing victim due to the sinking of the Surya Bahari Rawasaban Ship in the middle of Bokor Island near the island of Dapur, Untung Jawa Village, South Thousand Islands District, on Tuesday, October 7, early in the morning.

"Today, we are starting to search for victims who are still missing," said Head of the Jakarta SAR Office Desiana Kartika Bahari in Jakarta, Wednesday, October 8.

On Wednesday morning, he said a joint team consisting of a rescue team from the Jakarta SAR Office, the Indonesian Navy, the Polair Unit, the Tanjung Priok KPLP, the Tanjung Priok VTS, the Cituis KSOP, the DKI Fire Department, the DKI Transportation Service (Dishub), and other related teams had held an apple to continue the search for one victim who had not been found.

"Today, we are in the form of three Search and Rescue (SRU) or Search and Rescue Units to find the whereabouts of victims," said Desirea.

According to him, SRU I will conduct a search using KN SAR ANTASENA in area 1 covering an area of 110 Nm2 or a nautica mile. Then, SRU II carried out a search using a fishing boat in area 2 covering an area of 99 Nm2.

Furthermore, SRU III coordinates with local fishermen and service ships of the DKI Transportation Agency and conducts visual monitoring around Pramuka Island, Karya Island and its surroundings.

"For the rescue plan (exemption plan), officers prepared stretchers, stabilization equipment and body bags," said Desirea.

Previously, the fishing boat Surya Bahari Rawasaban sank in the middle of Bokor Island near the island of Dapur, Untung Jawa Village, South Thousand Islands District, on Tuesday, yesterday.

As of Wednesday morning, seven victims have been found, while one victim is still being searched. The seven survivors are Wahyudin (38) who is the captain of the ship, Imron (23), July, Kartani (30), Wawan (40), Kacung (35), Mamat (35).
