JAKARTA - The first Muslim woman to ever serve as British Cabinet Minister, Sayeeda Warsi, strongly criticized Israel for inviting British extreme right-handed activist Tommy Robinson.
Warsi assessed that Robinson was invited to visit Israel was a response to the stabbing case in Manchester.
According to him, Israel's invitation has a great opportunity to spread divisions in the UK because Robinson has traces in many cases of violence and the spread of anti-migrant and Islamophobia hoaxes.
"The Israeli minister invited Tommy Robinson, a man with many sentences [of punishments] for violence and fraud, to Israel in response to the horrific attack on Manchester," wrote the woman who is also called Lady Warsi through her X account, quoted from Independet.
"Try to absorb it," he continued.
The former cabinet minister of the British Conservative Party requested that the situation in Britain, which is grieving, not be politicized with chaos.
Warsi said the entire community in the UK is currently helping each other prevent recurring events and reducing the negative impact of the stabbing case in Manchester on Thursday, October 2 morning.
"While all communities in Britain are united to support our grieving Jewish community, Israel is spreading divisions in our country, supporting and promoting those who spread hatred and making our country unsafe," Warsi said.

Warsi asked the entire community in Britain to condemn Israel's behavior in inviting Britain's far-right extremists. In the midst of its military activity in Gaza which is opposed by the international community, Warsi continued, Israel now has the potential to spread polarization issues that could lead to division in Britain.
"It's time for everyone who thinks correctly to denounce this irresponsible and very dangerous behavior from Israel," Warsi continued.
Agreeing with Lady Warsi, Director of the British Future think tank Sunder Katwala assessed that Tommy Robinson was indeed active with activities that contained intolerance and widened differences in the midst of the heterogeneous British community.
According to him, efforts to invite Tommy Robinson are tantamount to stating that it is in line with the attitude of the England's far-right extremist, known as anti-Muslim.
'Tommy Robinson is the voice of prejudice and division. There should be cross-party and interfaith pressure on the Israeli government to withdraw its invitation," Katwala said.
