Prabowo's Instructions: All MBG Kitchens Must Have Hygienic Standards In One Week!

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto ordered the Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana to ensure that the entire free nutritious dining kitchen is equipped with high hygienic standards with sterilization tools and food test kits, as well as clean water filters.

Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya explained that the order was given by President Prabowo to the Head of BGN in a limited meeting held at President Prabowo's private residence on Jalan Kertanegara, Jakarta, Sunday, October 5 evening.

"The president emphasized to the Head of BGN that at least next week, the kitchens must be equipped with a test kit, namely checking food hygiene, hygienic washers and dryers equipped with warm water, and special tools to avoid bacteria, and providing clean water filters," said Seskab Teddy as quoted by ANTARA.

Seskab Teddy continued to evaluate the implementation of the free nutritious food program as one of the issues discussed in a limited meeting tonight.

The President also discussed several other government priority programs, including the Red and White Village Cooperatives, Fishermen's Villages, food security and energy security, economic stimulus, especially for the end of 2025, and various other government programs.

The meeting was attended by the ranks of the Minister of the Red and White Cabinet, including Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto and Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, both of whom sat on the left and right sides of President Prabowo, then there was also the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM as well as the CEO of Danantara Rosan Perkasa Roeslani.

On the right side of the President, there are Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadive, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman, Minister of National Development Planning/Head of National Development Planning Rachmat Pambudy, Acting Minister (Plt.) Minister of SOEs as well as COO Danantara Dony Oskaria, CIO Danantara Pandu Sjahrir, President Director of Perum Bulog Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani, and President Director of PT Pindad Sigit P. Santosa.

Then on the left side of the President, there is Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan, Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Head of BGN Dadan Hindayana.
