West Java DPRD Will Ask For Information From All Parties Related To Bandung Zoo

BANDUNG - The West Java DPRD plans to hold a meeting with opinions (RDP) on the Bandung Zoo issue in the near future, and they confirm that they will ask for information from all related parties.

West Java DPRD member Rafael Situmorang revealed that the related parties who will be questioned are the central government (ministerial), city governments, BPN, BKSDA, and deed dispute parties, namely the Tamansari Wildlife Foundation (YMT), both led by Sri Devi and Bisma Bratakoesoema, as well as by Tony and John Sumampau.

"So we (PDIP faction) take this issue to the West Java DPRD institutionally to hold a hearing meeting, by summoning related parties, namely the mayor, the garden of his foundation, (institution) conservation, we invite all of them. Including YMT Tony Sumampau must be invited," Rafael said to ANTARA in a teleway in Bandung, Saturday.

All parties, said Rafael, are likely to be met at the same time, although for certainty it will be carried out by the West Java DPRD as an institution.

"The summons will be made by the West Java DPRD. The possibility of holding it together. This is to clarify this problem," said Rafael.

Previously, the PDIP faction of the West Java DPRD received an audience from the Sundanese Heritage Guard (Heir) driven by Rully H Alfiady (coordinator) and Def Bratakoesoema, who expressed their aspirations regarding the condition of the Bandung Zoo, in an audience held Thursday (2/10).

Rafael, who was also present at the hearing, said that based on the version conveyed by the Heir, there was a community group claiming to be the heirs of the founder of the Tamansari Wildlife Foundation (YMT) Ema Bratakoesoema who felt as if he had been "dispelled" by both the Bandung City Government and YMT chaired by John Sumampau.

The faction of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) of the West Java Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) has not yet concluded the polemic that occurred at the Bandung Zoo or Bandung Zoo.

Rafael Situmorang said that his party could not provide any conclusions on this polemic, because it did not yet have a complete and new story from one party.

The Bandung Zoo (Bandung ZOO) is currently known in the management of the old management, namely the Tamansari Wildlife Foundation (YMT) driven by Bisma Bratakoesoema and Sri Devi.

Meanwhile, Bisma Bratakoesoema and Sri Devi are defendants in the Bandung Zoo corruption case and are required to serve 15 years in prison with the obligation to pay a fine of tens of billions of rupiah.

In the midst of undergoing a corruption trial, YMT Bisma Bratakoesoema and Sri Devi along with four other people, filed a lawsuit with the Bandung City Government (Wali Kota Bandung) regarding the status of the land that is now being used for the Bandung Zoo.

In addition, Bisma Bratakoesoema and Sri Devi along with six other people also filed a lawsuit against YMT administrators driven by John Sumampau regarding the dispute over the foundation's deed.
