Jasa Marga: Bogor-Serpong Toll Road Development Via Parung Encourages Investment In The Capital Buffer Area

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk together with PT Persada Utama Infra, PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk and PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur through the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) PT Bogor Serpong Infra Selaras (BSIS) officially presents the Bogor 'Serpong Toll Road via Parung.

The toll road construction plan was realized through the signing of the Toll Road Concession Agreement (PPJT) with the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the Ministry of Public Works (PU) in Jakarta, Friday, October 3.

Meanwhile, PT BSIS was formed as a form of collaboration between State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and the private sector in presenting strategic infrastructure for national economic connectivity and growth.

As a BUJT established in the form of a consortium, PT BSIS shares are owned by PT Persada Utama Infra by 52 percent, Jasa Marga 26 percent, Adhi Karya 12 percent and Hutama Karya Infrastruktur 10 percent.

PPJT Jalan Tol Bogor 'Serpong via Parung was signed by the Head of BPJT of the Ministry of Public Works Wilan Oktavian and the President Director of PT BSIS Eldy Ellyus. This step is an important milestone in the construction of new connectivity that connects Bogor and Serpong through Parung.

Jasa Marga President Director Rivan A. Purwantono said the project was part of the company's commitment to providing quality, safe and sustainable toll road infrastructure.

"The construction of the Bogor Serpong Toll Road via Parung not only accelerates the journey between Bogor and Serpong, but also opens up new economic opportunities, facilitates logistics distribution and encourages investment in the capital's buffer zone," Rivan said in a written statement, Saturday, October 4.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Public Works, Dody Hanggodo, said that the construction of the Bogor 'Serpong Toll Road via Parung is an important part of the national strategy in strengthening connectivity and encouraging inclusive economic growth.

According to him, the presence of the toll road will facilitate community mobility, increase the efficiency of distribution of goods and open new investment opportunities that have a broad impact on the Jabodetabek area and the national economy.

"The Bogor 'Serpong' toll road via Parung is not just transportation infrastructure, but a dynamo for regional growth. Its presence will open new jobs, strengthen the middle class and reduce poverty," he said.

Dody assessed that the created connectivity will accelerate logistics distribution, reduce investment costs, create jobs and strengthen Indonesia's competitiveness in the eyes of the global community.

"The construction of this toll road is part of a large strategy towards economic growth of eight percent inclusive and sustainable," he said.

Later, the Bogor's Toll Road via Parung will become an integral part of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road III (JORR 3) toll road network.

It is known, JORR 3 is the main link between other strategic toll roads, such as Serpong 'Balaraja (Serbaraja), Bogor Outer Ring Road (BORR), Depok' Antasari (Desari) and Sentul Selatan' West Karawang.

Thus, the presence of the new Bogor Toll Road (Serpong) via Parung further emphasized Jasa Marga's role as a toll road manager who focuses on strengthening connectivity, transportation efficiency and national economic growth.
