Plenary Session Of Closing, Puan Will Report Performance Of The DPR 2024-2025

JAKARTA - The Indonesian House of Representatives will hold a special plenary session before closing the First Session Period of 2024-2025 today. In this report, the Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, will submit a report on the performance of the council for one year in office since being sworn in in August 2024.

Based on information from the Secretariat General of the DPR, today's plenary meeting, Thursday, October 2, will take place at 10.00 WIB.

In addition to the special plenary session, the DPR also held a plenary session closing the trial period. Previously, the DPR would hold second-degree talks or decision-making of a number of draft laws and ratifications.

Furthermore, Puan Maharani will deliver a speech to close the First Session Period of 2024-2025 which officially marks the entry of the council recess.

The following is the agenda of today's plenary session:

A. Level II Talks/Decision Making On The Draft Law On Ratification Of Agreements Between The Republic Of Indonesia And The Russian Federation On Extradition (Treaty between The Republic Of Indonesia And The Russian Federation On Extradition

B. Level II Discussions/Decision Making on the Draft Law on the Fourth Amendment to Law Number 19 of 2003 concerning State-Owned Enterprises

C. Level II Discussions/Decision Making on the Bill on the Third Amendment to Law Number 10 of 2009 concerning Tourism;

D. The opinion of the factions on the Draft Law on Amendments to Law Number 4 of 2023 concerning the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector (PPSK), the proposal for the initiative of Commission XI of the DPR RI will be continued with the decision making into a bill proposed by the DPR RI.

E. The opinion of the factions on the Draft Law on Statistics, the proposal for the Initiative of the Legislation Body of the DPR RI is followed by making a decision to become a bill proposed by the DPR RI;

F. The determination of the Working Partners of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, is followed by decision making;
