JAKARTA - Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana revealed President Prabowo Subianto's instructions to focus on improving health standards and security units of nutritional fulfillment services (SPPG) for the increasing number of food poisoning cases in the free nutritious eating program (MBG).

"President Prabowo's instructions, all SPPGs will later make improvements," Dadan told the media crew after a working meeting with Commission IX of the DPR in Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, October 1.

On that occasion, Dadan also mentioned the provision of rapid test kits as a preventive measure for poisoning cases. He said that the SPPG operating under the auspices of the National Police had implemented a rapid test before the food was distributed to students and the public.

"They (have) done a rapid test before the food is distributed," said Dadan.

According to Dadan, the SPPG built by the National Police already has and runs with good operational standards due to zero cases of poisoning.

"This can be an example to improve other SPPG standards," concluded Dadan.
