The Theft Of A Boks Car In Petojo, Central Jakarta, Was Recorded By CCTV, The Perpetrator Was 4 Men With 2 Motorbikes

The theft carried out by four men with two motorbikes was caught on CCTV cameras while trying to get away with the box car numbered B 9302 BCO on the side of the road in the Petojo area, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

Based on the CCTV footage circulating, the perpetrator came riding 2 motorbikes to the location where the box car was parked.

The four perpetrators monitored the situation before carrying out the car theft. After feeling safe, the two perpetrators immediately launched an act of theft.

The perpetrator stole by breaking into one of the car doors. After successfully starting the car, the perpetrator then took the four-wheeled vehicle away.

According to the car owner's statement, the perpetrators amounted to 4 people.

"They immediately broke into the door and took my car away," said the car owner in a statement circulating.

The victim then reported the incident to the Gambir Metro Police. The victim hopes that his car can be found by the police immediately.

"I also hope that the police can quickly investigate thoroughly, because the way they break into cars is very fast, this is probably a syndicate," he said.

Gambir Metro Police Chief, Kompol Rezeki Revi Respati said his party had not yet received a report from the victim of the theft.

"The victim has not made an LP," said the police chief.

Even though they have not made a police report, the Gambir Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still checking.

"Investigators are conducting an investigation. We have checked the crime scene, examined witnesses at the crime scene, analyzed CCTV and pulbaket," he said.
