A total of 10 Neighborhood Units (RT) in South Jakarta were flooded after rains hit the area on Tuesday, September 30.

"The water level is 30 to 50 centimeters (cm)," said Head of the DKI Jakarta BPBD Data and Information Center (Kapusdatin) Mohamad Yohan, following from ANTARA.

The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) noted that currently inundation occurred in 10 RTs in South Jakarta, namely one RT in Bangka Village with a water level of 30 cm. The cause is high rainfall and overflow of Mampang River.

"Nine RTs in Pela Mampang Village with a height of 50 cm, the cause of high rainfall and overflow of Mampang River," he said.

BPBD DKI Jakarta has deployed personnel to monitor inundation conditions in each region and coordinate elements of the Water Resources Service (SDA), Bina Marga Service, Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) to conduct inundation suction.
