DPR Holds A Series Of Important Meetings With Ministers To SOE Leaders Today

JAKARTA - The House of Representatives (DPR) on Monday 29 September will hold a number of important meetings in various commissions by presenting ministers and leaders of SOEs.

Commission VII, a working meeting is scheduled to start at 10.00 WIB with the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, the Minister of State Secretary, the Minister of National Development Planning/Bappenas, the Minister of Education and Culture, the Minister of Culture, the Minister of Home Affairs, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Law and Human Rights, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Immigration and Corrections, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Head of Bekraf, the Minister of Human Rights, and Menpar.

At 13.00 WIB, Commission VII will continue a hearing with the Director General of Metal, Machinery, Transportation Equipment and Electronics (ILMATE) of the Ministry of Industry which also presents the President Director of PT Krakatau Steel.

Meanwhile, Commission XI will continue to discuss the committee for the P2SK Amendment Bill at 10.00 WIB in the commission meeting room. After that, an internal meeting was scheduled with the agenda of the Panja report, the views of the factions, and the agreement to harmonize the conception of the P2SK Amendment Bill with the Legislation Board of the DPR RI.

On the other hand, Commission VI at 10.00 WIB will hold a meeting with PT Antam Tbk, PT Inalum, and PT Vale Indonesia Tbk. The agenda will be continued at 14.00 WIB with the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Industry. At 15.30 WIB, Commission VI will hear reports from ID Food, Bulog, and PTPN.

Commission III will focus on discussing the draft Criminal Procedure Code through a general hearing (RDPU). At 10.00 WIB, Commission III will receive input from Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Nurjaya (the professor of law anthropology at Universitas Brawijaya), the Lokataru Foundation, the National Coalition for Disability Organizations, and the Alliance for Justice Observer Advocates.

Meanwhile, at 13.00 WIB, the RDPU was continued with the Indonesia Judicial Research Society (IJRS), the Community Legal Aid Institute, LBH Jalan Towards the Sun, and the Indonesian Notary Association.

In addition, the Legislation Body (Baleg) of the DPR also scheduled a working committee meeting (panja) at 13.00 WIB with the agenda of drafting a bill on the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency.

In addition to the commission meeting, a number of faction agendas were also held, including the KPPI meeting with DPR member Irma in the faction meeting room at 12.00-15.00 WIB and the group discussion forum (FGD) in the KK V meeting room at 10.00 WIB.
