JAKARTA The case of mass poisoning that befell students receiving Free Nutrition Food (MBG) is one of President Prabowo Subianto's main concerns. Immediately after completing the trip abroad, Prabowo discussed his flagship program which turned out to be running chaotically.
One of the main problems is the absence of hygienic standards from the kitchen of the MBG menu provider, or what is referred to as the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG). The government then plans to issue a Hygienic and Sanitation Decent Certificate (SLHS) as a condition for the feasibility of the SPPG.
So, when will the plan be realized?
"As soon as possible! Maybe when we talk about the target, everything must be completed in a matter of weeks to ensure that all kitchens have SLHS," said Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of State Secretary of the Republic of Indonesia, Sunday night (28/9).
Prasetyo added that Prabowo emphasized cleanliness, especially related to water problems.
"We reported the results of our meeting this afternoon with plans for future improvements to governance. There, frankly, the President from yesterday provided very detailed clues. Even very technical. For example, regarding the problem of procedural discipline, especially the problem of cleanliness which is related to water problems," said Prasetyo.
"He is very concerted because of the several samples that have been completed, one of the main causes is bacteria. One of them is also our discipline in carrying out the cooking process in each of these kitchens," Prasetyo added.
