The Cause Of Death Of An 8-Year-Old Boy In Penjaringan Has Not Been Revealed

North Jakarta Metro Police are still investigating the cause of the death of a girl with the initials AR (8) in her house in Penjaringan, North Jakarta. Until now, the police are still conducting a gradual examination of the victim's biological mother, MKR (35), who is suspected of having a mental disorder.

The joint team from the North Jakarta Metro Police and the Penjaringan Metro Police have not been able to conclude the cause of a number of wounds on the victim's body.

"Indeed, there are several injuries on the victim's body. But we cannot conclude (the cause of the wound), it is currently still in the process (investigation)," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Onkoseno Gradiarso Sukahar, Friday, September 26, 2025.

Meanwhile, when asked about the injuries caused by blunt objects to the victim's head, Kompol Onkoseno also could not conclude.

"We are still investigating. (the wound on the back) is also still in process, so we can't conclude yet," he said.

A girl with the initials AR (8) was found dead in a boarding room in the Penjaringan area, North Jakarta, Sunday, September 21, 2025.

The victim was found in a condition that his body had emitted an unpleasant odor. The victim was found supine and covered in blood behind his back.

Not only that, there was also blood splashing on the floor of the boarding room.

The Head of the Penjaringan Metro Police, AKBP Agus Ady Wijaya, said the incident was reported on Sunday at around 00.00 WIB.

"We coordinated with the North Jakarta Metro Police identification team to check the crime scene and processing the initial crime scene. The results of the inspection, it was true that the condition of the corpse was found lying covered in blood behind the back and scattered on the floor," said AKBP Agus Ady Wijaya to reporters, Monday, September 22, 2025.

When found, the boy's body was on the floor of the boarding room and naked.

"The condition of the room was also found in a disordered state. From the results of the crime scene processing, the identity of the body with the initials AR (8) is a woman," he said.

From the information from the TKP processing team, it is estimated that the victim has died for 5 days, which has rotted.
