The Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) of the Polda Metro Jaya formed a Special Task Force (Satgasus), namely the Security, Safety, Order and Traffic Smoothness Task Force (Kamseltibcar Lalu) to handle quick response to congestion that occurred on Jalan Gatot Subroto.

"This task force will help mitigate the congestion that occurred in Gatot Subroto," said Head of Ops Ditlantas PMJ Kompol Robby Hefados, ANTARA, Thursday, September 25.

Three teams in the Kamseltibcar Task Force Then will take turns to regulate and carry out traffic engineering patterns. They were deployed starting today at 15.00 WIB until the traffic flow was stable or conducive, and continued the next day.

The task force, he said, would help direct the public to take alternative toll gates that can be crossed, such as the Semanggi 2 Toll Gate and Kuningan 2 Toll Gate.

"So, we don't queue anymore at the Semanggi 1 Toll Gate because it's closed," he said.

Robby assessed that the traffic jam on Jalan Gatot Subroto was the result of the repair of the toll gate carried out by Jasa Marga from September 24 to October 10, 2025.

"In that period, the repair of the toll gate was actually pursued or accelerated by Jasa Marga, so the GT was temporarily closed," he said.

He appealed to motorists to usually take other alternative routes, such as using the Wiyoto Wiyonon toll road or using the Depok Antasari toll road and the JORR toll road.
