The Pulogebang Health Center took samples of the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program at SDN 07 Pulogebang to conduct further examinations related to the incident of six students vomiting after eating MBG food, Wednesday, September 24, afternoon.

"When there was the incident, Pulogebang Health Center immediately came to check the food. While the answer was that there was no poisoning, the sample was taken," said Head of the East Jakarta Region I Education Sub-dept. M. Fahmi, quoted from ANTARA in Jakarta, Thursday, September 25.

The incident occurred at around 13.00 WIB. At that time, there were about 150 students who enjoyed the MBG menu, but only six children reported symptoms of vomiting.

"The ones in the morning with the same menu are all safe. Meanwhile, during the day, only six of the 150 students vomited. The symptoms were mild, only vomiting, and were immediately handled by the puskesmas," said Fahmi.

According to information from Pulogebang Health Center, the food consumed by students is relatively safe. It is suspected that the disturbance occurred due to the smell of boiled cabbage which had been stored from morning to lunch hours in closed conditions.

"Usually food is sent around 09.00 WIB or 10:00 am, while the shift-in children just eat at 13.00 WIB. Maybe the boiled cabbage that is covered takes too long to emit a smell, so some children can't stand it," explained Fahmi.

Health center officers who came to school immediately provided first aid. The six students recovered after being given the drug and did not need to be referred to the hospital.

Even so, to ensure safety, the puskesmas still brings food samples for laboratory tests. The official results of the examination can only be known after the analysis process is complete.

According to Fahmi, this case cannot be immediately referred to as mass poisoning.

"There has been no definite result. It happened in the afternoon, maybe it's finished now. Later, if you want to confirm directly by the Pulogebang Health Center," he said.

He emphasized that his party only acts as a beneficiary of the MBG program, so they cannot specify the content in each menu. Moreover, the health condition of each student is different, it could be because the stomach is empty or in other situations.

"It could be, maybe, maybe this child's stomach is empty. Two, the physical is different from the other. Three, some are resistant to the smell of coll or not. While the analysis is like that. That's an analysis, not an analysis of roughly our observations, but for sure from a doctor," said Fahmi.

Previously, there were rumors on social media that there had been poisoning of the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program at SDN 07 Pulogebang, Cakung, East Jakarta, Wednesday afternoon.

In an upload on the Facebook forum "Residents of Pulogebang and Around", a photo of a number of students in red white uniforms with their parents crowding a white ambulance can be seen.

"There is again SDN 07 Pulogebang poisoning MBG," wrote a statement in the Facebook forum of Pulogebang Residents and Aroundnya.
