JAKARTA - The leadership of the DPR RI has agreed on a proposal to form a special committee (special committee) to resolve agrarian conflicts. This special committee is one of the results of an audience meeting by the leadership of the DPR with the Agrarian Reform Consortium (KPA) at the DPR Building today.
The audience was held to listen to input related to the strategy to accelerate the implementation of agrarian reform. This audience was held in the room of Commission XIII DPR, parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 24.
The audience was led by Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, accompanied by Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives Cucun Ahmad Syamsurizal and Saan Mustopa. Also present were Chairman of Commission IV of the House of Representatives Titiek Soeharto and Deputy Chairman of Commission IV of the House of Representatives Alex Indra Lukman and Panggah Susanto.
This audience was also attended by a number of ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, namely the Minister of Forestry Raja Juli Antoni, Minister of ATR/BPN Nusron Wahid, Minister of State Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions Yandri Susanto, Minister of Tourism Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, and Head of KSP Muhammad Qodari.
During the hearing, Dasco read out 3 conclusions from the results of a meeting with community organizations and the government. First, regarding the policy of one map so that land boundaries in a number of areas do not experience differences.
"From the results of the meeting and what will be conveyed by the DPR, the first is that the DPR will encourage the government to accelerate the policy of one map and tidy up the spatial planning design in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia," said Dasco.
Second, the Indonesian House of Representatives encourages the government to form an Agrarian Reform Implementing Agency. This agency is a proposal from the KPA for the government to form a special institution to carry out agrarian reforms in order to focus on dealing with disputes.
Third, the DPR also approved the KPA's proposal regarding the formation of a special committee that monitors the resolution of agrarian conflicts in the country.
"Three, the DPR will form a special committee for resolving agrarian conflicts which will be ratified at the end of the closing of the plenary session of the DPR RI on October 2, 2025," said Dasco.
