JAKARTA - President of the United States (US) Donald Trump emphasized that the recognition of the Palestinian state would be a too great gift for Hamas.
Trump repeated his call for the release of the hostages who were still alive or dead by the militant group in Gaza.
Trump called for an immediate end to the war in Gaza.
"Those who support peace must unite in demanding the release of the hostages," he said in a speech at the United Nations (UN).
"It's as if to push for a sustainable conflict, some of these members of the agency are trying to recognize the Palestinian state unilaterally. The reward will be too great for the Hamas terrorists, for their cruelty," Trump stressed.
