New History: Britain, Canada, And Australia Admit Palestine, Called 'Custom Decision'

JAKARTA - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomes the decisions of Britain, Canada, Australia, and a number of other countries that recognize the Palestinian State.

The move is considered a bold decision consistent with international law and international legitimacy resolution.

In a press statement, Sunday night, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its appreciation and gratitude to these countries.

They affirmed the Palestinian Government's readiness to build the most powerful and most sincere relationship with these countries at all levels.

"This decision is rooted in the commitment of these countries to end the occupation and achieve peace, and ensure security, stability, and prosperity for the region and the world," the Palestinian Foreign Ministry said in a statement quoted by Antara, Sunday, September 21.

According to them, the recognition of Western countries is also a recognition of the rights of the Palestinian people who are fair and legitimate.

The move is believed to protect the two-state solution from the threat of sustainable occupation crimes, including genocide, hunger, evacuation, and annexation.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry also considers this recognition to provide additional momentum for regional and international efforts led by Saudi Arabia and France to implement the New York Declaration.

The declaration aims to resolve the conflict through political and negotiation methods, as well as restore respect for international law and global legitimacy.

In a statement, Palestine urged countries that have not recognized Palestinian sovereignty, particularly the United States, to take the same initiative.

They asked these countries to stand on the true sides of history' in order to eliminate injustice to the Palestinian people and support the right to self-determination as other nations in the world.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry emphasizes that the immediate cessation of the Israeli war against the Palestinian people in all its forms is the right approach to achieving calm, building trust, and restoring political horizons to conflict resolution.
