MATARAM - Bima City Police, West Nusa Tenggara named the Head of Poja Village, Sape District, Bima Regency, Robi Darwis along with two other people as suspects in the burning of the local Inspectorate office.

Kapolres Bima Kota AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro melalui pernyataan yang diterima di Mataram, Sabtu, mengungkapkan bahwa pihaknya menetapkan tiga tersangka dalam kasus ini berdasarkan hasil penyidikan.

"From the investigation case, Friday (19/9), we have named three people as suspects," he said.

The police chief said the mastermind behind the arson was Robi Darwis, the Head of Poja Village, whether planning or burning the Bima District Inspectorate office.

Two other suspects, namely Dimansyah Putra and Surhan. The police revealed that Dimansyah acted as the executor of the burning of the inspectorate office along with the suspect Robi, while Surhan was the driver of the car carrying the other two suspects along with the equipment to burn.

By revealing the roles of each suspect, the Chief of Police applies a criminal suspicion against Robi and Dimansyah, namely Article 187 of the 1st Criminal Code and for Surhan subject to Article 187 of the 1st Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.

Following up on the determination, the Police Chief confirmed that his party had arrested and detained the three suspects.

"We have arrested the suspect DP (Dimansyah Putra) who is a child in NTT (East Nusa Tenggara), and we have temporarily entrusted him to the West Manggarai Police waiting for the ferry to be brought to the Bima City Police," he said.

The Bima District Inspectorate office, located in Penatoi Village, Mpunda District, Bima City, was reported to have caught fire on Thursday morning (7/8). The entire room, office goods and documents were reportedly burned down.
