PDIP Threatens To Fire Cadres Who Hurt People's Hearts After Viral Video Wahyudin Moradi

The PDIP DPP has threatened to fire cadres in the aftermath of the Wahyudin Moridu case (Instagram/@wahyumoridu).

JAKARTA - The PDI-P (PDIP) DPP asked its cadres to maintain their attitude and honor. Anyone who hurts the hearts of the people or gives the party the honor of getting ready to face sanctions and even being fired.

This was conveyed by the Chairman of the PDIP DPP for Honorary Affairs, Komarudin Watubun, in response to the viral video of a member of the Gorontalo City DPRD, Wahyudin Moridu, who wanted to 'robber state money'.

"I want to convey to all party cadres from Sabang to Merauke, from Miangas to Rote Island, to maintain discipline, ethics, honor, authority of the party and their respective families."

"Do not let actions that injure the party, injure the hearts of the people. The DPP will take the same dismissal as did Wahyudin's brother," Komarudin said in his statement to reporters, Saturday, September 20, 2025.

As for now, Wahyudin has been fired by the PDIP DPP. Interim replacement (PAW) is being prepared, said Komarudin.

"Today the DPP issued a letter of dismissal to the person concerned and in the near future PAW will be carried out immediately," he emphasized.

Komarudin said the dismissal letter was issued on the recommendation of the ethics and discipline committee. Wahyudin has also been clarified by the Gorontalo Province PDIP DPD.

"So, indeed the DPD Gorontalo and DPD have clarified the person concerned and have submitted a report to the DPP, asking for organizational action to be taken for his actions," he said.

Wahyudin went viral on social media because of an upload showing him driving a car with a woman. Footage taken by the woman sitting next to him.

Wahyudin, still in the viral video, said that he would travel to Makassar using state money. He then made a statement in the public spotlight with a laugh.

"Today we are heading to Makassar to use state money. We will rob this country's money. We will spend it, so that this country will be poorer," said Wahyudin.

This viral video was then responded to by the Honorary Board (BK) of the Gorontalo Provincial DPRD. Reporting from era.id, Wahyudin's words were said in an unconscious or drunk condition.

"It is true that he was drunk drinking alcohol," said Head of BK DPRD Gorontalo, Fikram Salilama, Friday, September 19, 2025.

Fikram emphasized that Wahyudin's words remained in the category of ethical violations.

"We are sworn in to uphold statutory regulations, while he has issued words like that. To mention impoverishing the country, it is fatal," he said.

This attitude is also regretted and Wahyudin will be asked for clarification next week.

"The Honorary Agency will immediately move quickly to follow up," said Fikram.
