Viral Wants To 'Ruppose State Money', Member Of The Gorontalo DPRD Wahyudin Moridu Turns Out To Be Debt Rp200 Million

JAKARTA - The wealth of Gorontalo Provincial DPRD member Wahyudin Moridu, who went viral in the video wanting to 'robber state money' turned out to be minus Rp. 2 million. He recorded a debt ownership of Rp. 200 million in the state administrator's wealth report (LHKPN) submitted to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

Reporting from the KPK e-LHKPN page, Wahyudin has only reported his assets to the KPK, namely when he was Secretary of the PDIP Faction at the Gorontalo Provincial DPRD. The report was made on March 26, 2025.

He recorded land and building assets covering an area of 2,000 square meters (m2)/72 m2 in Boalemo with an inheritance status of Rp180,000,000.

He also reported cash ownership and cash equivalents of Rp. 18,000,000.

However, Wahyudin has a debt of Rp. 200,000,000 so that the assets amounting to Rp. 198,000,000 are reduced to minus Rp. 2 million.

The viral video circulated on social media and showed Wahyudin driving a car with a woman. Footage taken by the woman sitting next to him.

Wahyudin, still in the viral video, said that he would travel to Makassar using state money. He then made a statement in the public spotlight with a laugh.

"Today we are going to Makassar using state money. We'll just rob this country's money, right. We'll just spend it, so that this country will get poorer," said Wahyudin.

This viral video was then responded to by the Honorary Board (BK) of the Gorontalo Provincial DPRD. Reporting from era.id, Wahyudin's words were said in an unconscious or drunk condition.

"It is true that he was drunk drinking alcohol," said Head of BK DPRD Gorontalo, Fikram Salilama, Friday, September 19.

Fikram emphasized that Wahyudin's words remained in the category of ethical violations. "We are sworn in to uphold the laws and regulations, while he has issued words like that. To mention impoverishing the state, it is fatal," he said.

This attitude is also regretted and Wahyudin will be asked for clarification next week.

"The Honorary Agency immediately moved quickly to follow up," concluded Fikram.
