The Lampung High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) has handed over suspects in the corruption case in the management of state-owned bank customers along with evidence to the Pringsewu District Attorney (Kejari).
"The second phase of submission was carried out at the Pringsewu Kejari because the case locus was in the jurisdiction of Pringsewu Regency," said Head of the Legal Information Section (Kasi Penkum) of the Lampung Attorney General's Office Ricky Ramadhan in Bandarlampung, Antara, Friday, September 19.
The suspect with the initials CA is a Relationship Manager Funding & Transaction (RMFT) at the Pringsewu Branch bank. CA is tasked with raising funds and managing customer transactions, but is suspected of causing state losses of Rp. 17.96 billion.
The person concerned is suspected of violating Primair Article 2 Paragraph (1) jo. Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 which was amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption, subsidiary Article 3 jo. Article 18 of the same Law, "said Ricky.
The second phase of delegation was carried out after the case file was declared complete (P-21) by the Lampung Attorney General's Office. The Lampung Attorney General's Special Crime Investigators have confiscated 613 pieces of evidence from the suspect and witnesses.
"The evidence we confiscated was in the form of immovable assets such as land and buildings, motorized vehicles, jewelry, cell phones, and a number of savings accounts at various banks," said Ricky.
