JAKARTA - The police again found the whereabouts of one person who had reportedly disappeared after the riots that took place in the Jakarta area at the end of August 2025.

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Brigadier General Ade Ary Syam Indradi, said the figure found was Eko Purnomo. The young man had not received any news since September 1 and was last seen in the Salemba area, Central Jakarta.

"The joint special team formed by the Metro Jaya Police Chief has succeeded in finding Eko Purnomo," Ade told reporters, Thursday, September 18.

It is known or the discovery of Eko Purnomo based on the deepening of the family's statement. This is because the young man is said to have sent news when he works in Kalimantan.

"Eko Purnomo informed his parents through the WhatsApp application that Eko Purnomo went to work in Kalimantan," he said.

From that statement, the police confirmed the truth. So that it goes directly to the stated location.

As a result, Eko Purnomo was indeed in Kampung Desa Hamlet, Kuala Jelai Village, Kec. Kuala Jelai, Kab. Sukamara, Central Kalimantan. The young man works as a fish catcher.

"Eko Purnomo really worked as a fish catcher in Kuala Jelai, Sukamara Regency, Central Kalimantan," said Ade.

Previously, the police had also found the whereabouts of one other person, namely Bima Permana Putra. The young man is said to be in Malang, East Java.
