Central Jakarta Police Receives One Report Of Missing Persons On Behalf Of Reno Syahputra

Central Jakarta Metro Police received a report of one person missing during a riot in the Kwitang area, Senen District, Central Jakarta. Head of Public Relations of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Iptu Ruslan, confirmed the report.

"The results of checking the search for missing persons reported by the Central Jakarta Police, there was one reporter named Abraham Firmansyah, reporting the loss of his older brother, Reno Syahputra," said Iptu Ruslan when confirmed, Wednesday, September 17, 2025.

After receiving the report, investigators then conducted an examination, clarifying the reporter.

"The clarification has been made on the reporter. Further information will be made," he said.

It is known that KontraS had released a report of 3 missing people during the action from August 25 to 31, 2025.

As of Wednesday, September 17, 2025, the whereabouts of the three missing people are still unknown.

Based on KontraS records, the three missing people named Reno Syahputradewo, the last location in Brimob Kwitang, Central Jakarta, has been missing since August 30, 2025.

M Farhan Hamid, the last location in Brimob Kwitang, Central Jakarta, has been missing since August 21, 2025.

Bima Permana Putra, the last location in Glodok, Central Jakarta, has been missing since August 31, 2025.

Previously, the Ministry of Human Rights (HAM) had dispatched a team to search for three people who were reported missing after the demonstration at the end of August 2025.

"I have dispatched three teams, those who communicate with the families of the missing person," said Human Rights Minister Natalius Pigai.
