JAKARTA - Commissioner General of Police (Ret.) Ahmad Dofiri and his wife, Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, and Deputy for LKPP Strategy and Policy Sarah Sadiqah were observed to have docked at the State Palace, Wednesday today.

Dofiri, who wore the police ceremony uniform, arrived at the Palace at around 12.30 WIB, with his wife wearing a cream kebaya and dark brown batik cloth. Based on VOI monitoring, Tito Karnavian wore a black suit while Sarah wore batik.

The three of them stepped up for sure in the pouring rain. A number of questions were immediately asked by the media crew to these three people who came separately, but only smiled and waved their hands in response.

Information circulating among Palace journalists, Ahmad Dofiri is rumored to be inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto as the Special Staff of the President of the Republic of Indonesia.

Dofiri's inauguration is also reported to coincide with the inauguration of ministers and other deputy ministers, including Lieutenant General TNI (Ret.) Djamari Chaniago as Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs, Erick Thohir as Minister of Youth and Sports, and Angga Raka Prabowo as Head of the Presidential Communication Office (PCO).

However, neither the Palace nor those who were reportedly inaugurated were able to provide information or confirmation regarding the rumors circulating.

Other information that is also circulating among Palace journalists, but has not been confirmed, the inauguration ceremony is scheduled to take place at the State Palace, Jakarta, at 14.00 WIB. Previously, the ranks of officials who will be inaugurated will attend a clean rehearsal session at 13.00 WIB.

President Prabowo last reshuffled his cabinet on September 8, 2025. Several new officials who were the result of the reshuffle of the 2nd volume of the Red and White Cabinet, namely Purbaya Yudhi Sadive as Minister of Finance, Mukhtarudin as Minister of Protection for Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI)/Head of the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (BP2MI), and Ferry Joko Juliantono as Minister of Cooperatives.

Then, there is Mochamad Irfan Yusuf Hasyim as Minister of Hajj and Umrah along with Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak as Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah. The Minister of Hajj and Umrah is a new structure in the Red and White Cabinet, which is the result of the transformation of the Hajj Organizing Agency.
