Police Reveal The Cause Of The Death Of Bank Ilham Pradipta's Kacab: Blunt Object Violence In The Neck

JAKARTA - The police revealed the cause of death of the Head of the BUMN Bank, Mohamad Ilham Pradipta. The results of the post-mortem show that the victim died from blunt force violence on the neck.

"After the post-mortem, we have received temporary results from the visum et repertum, where the victim died from blunt force violence on the neck," said Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police Kombes Wira Satya Triputra to reporters, Tuesday, September 16.

According to Wira, the punches in the neck put pressure on the respiratory tract and large pulses, causing a lack of oxygen and the victim died.

"What suppresses the air and large pulses causes weakness," he said.

However, investigators are still waiting for the results of the examination by the team of doctors as a whole to ensure that there are no other causes that cause the victim's death.

"The results are not final because we are still waiting for the results of the toxicology examination," said Wira.

Mohamad Ilham Pradipta was previously a victim of kidnapping and murder with the motive of controlling funds in a bank mortgage account. In this case, the police have arrested 15 suspects, including two TNI members with the initials Kopda FH and Serka N.

Ilham Pradipta was found dead in an empty land in the Cikarang area, West Java, on Thursday, September 21.

Based on CCTV footage, the day before, September 20, the victim was forced into a white car in the Lotte Grosir parking area of Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, before being forcibly taken away.
