Head of Central Sulawesi BPBD Akris Fattah Yunus in Palu City, Sunday, said the flood occurred at 16.00 WITA due to high rainfall resulting in overflowing of the river to inundate residential areas in Tosale Village.

Temporary data, 71 families (KK) affected by flooding spread across Hamlet 1 recorded six families, Hamlet 2 (40), Hamlet 3 (5), and Hamlet 4 (20). A number of public facilities in Tosale Village were also damaged, including a broken bridge in Kangando Hamlet.

The Donggala Regency Government has confirmed that it will immediately repair the broken bridge in Tosale Village.

"I have ordered BPBD and the Donggala Public Works Agency to immediately build an emergency bridge in Kangando Hamlet, so that people can still carry out their activities as usual," said Donggala Regent Vera Elena Laruni.
