JAKARTA - The Singapore Air Force (AU) or RSAF were involved in joint military exercises in Idaho, USA. They conducted a test of a ready-to-use micro drone.
Citing Asia One, Thursday 10 September,gers Archer became one of the three types of drones or micro unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) used by RSAF in the military exercise titled Forging Saber.
At Saylor Creek Range in Mountain Home, Idaho, Singaporean soldiers from the Drone Rapid Operation, Integration and Deployment (DROID) RSAF unit who had just been formed demonstrated the ability of these drones.
According to RSAF, the drones they use are equipped with special additional equipment' so they can operate independently because navigation and detection algorithms are integrated into payloads by the Defense Science and Technology Agency (DSTA).
More than 800 soldiers were involved in military exercises from 6 to 21 September.
