Four illegal workers at a beauty clinic in the Kemayoran area were secured and deported by the Class I Immigration Office of Non TPI Central Jakarta.

The four Vietnamese nationals were deported for violating immigration in the form of Immigration residence permits. Among them are three women and one man.

Head of the Class I Immigration Office of Non TPI Central Jakarta, Ronald Arman Abdullah, said the four foreigners were known to enter Indonesian territory using a visit visa, but in its implementation they were misused for illegal work purposes.

This violates the provisions in accordance with Article 122 letter a of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration, which regulates the obligation of each foreigner to obey the intent and purpose in accordance with the granting of his residence permit.

"We will not tolerate the misuse of Immigration residence permits. Every foreigner in Indonesian territory must comply with applicable laws and regulations," said Ronald Arman when confirmed, Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

Ronald explained that this deportation action is a form of immigration law enforcement as well as a form of immigration commitment in maintaining state sovereignty.

"This deportation is the enforcement of immigration law and firm steps so that the immigration function as the guardian of the state gate is maintained," he said.

The four foreigners from Vietnam were previously secured by the Intelligence and Immigration Enforcement Section of the Central Jakarta Immigration Office after field inspections were carried out.

Furthermore, further examinations were carried out and placed in the Immigration Detention Room before being returned to his country through Soekarno-Hatta International Airport under the escort of immigration officers.

This action, continued Ronald, is also a reminder for the entire community and business actors to always comply with the applicable immigration rules.

"We urge the public to play an active role in reporting the whereabouts of foreigners suspected of committing immigration violations through official complaint services," he said.

Ronald explained, with this firm action, the immigration function is not only limited to services but also as immigration law enforcers and state security guards.
