Police Investigate Harassment Of Palembang KKN Student In Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra

The Ogan Ilir Police (OI) handled a report on a case of harassment experienced by a student while undergoing a real job (KKN) lecture at OI, in South Sumatra (Sumsel).

Kapolres Ogan Ilir (OI) AKBP Bagus Suryo Wibowo membenarkan adanya laporan dari peristiwa tersebut, saat ini pihaknya tengah melakukan penanganan kasus tersebut.

Meanwhile, from the information obtained, a student from Palembang with the initials S was suspected of being a victim of harassment while carrying out a Real Work Lecture (KKN), precisely in Srikembang Village I, Ogan Ilir Regency on Friday, August 29, 2025.

The alleged perpetrators were two people who were members of the Karang Taruna, one of whom even served as the head of the hamlet.

It is known that the KKN group of victims was 10 people, consisting of five students and five female students from various majors. They occupy residents' houses as posts, with three bedrooms divided between male and female participants.

Since the beginning of his arrival, the group of students has been visited by Karang Taruna youth quite often at night with the aim of gathering and discussing the KKN program for the village.
