The File Was Submitted To The Singkawang Prosecutor's Office, The Perpetrator Of The 1.11-year-old Baby Murder Will Soon Be Tried

The Singkawang Police Satreskrim handed over the suspect UA as the perpetrator of the murder of a toddler named Rafa Fauzan some time ago to the Singkawang District Attorney (Kejari), Tuesday 9 September.

The Head of General Crimes at the Singkawang District Attorney's Office, Heri Susanto, confirmed that he had received the handover of the UA suspect along with evidence from the Singkawang Police.

As is known, the suspect UA was suspected of committing the murder of a toddler aged 1 year and 11 months some time ago at Jalan RA Kartini Gang Kapas, Sekip Lama Village, Central Singkawang District.

"The suspect is subject to Article 80 paragraph 3 concerning Child Protection, and starting today until the next 20 days we will leave the suspect in Singkawang Class IIB Prison," said at the location, Tuesday, September 9, which was confiscated by Antara.

As soon as possible, his party will transfer the case files to the Singkawang District Court for trial.

With the disclosure of this case, he hopes that the family of the deceased will fully submit it to the legal apparatus.

"We will always be transparent so that we are encouraged to jointly maintain security and conduciveness during the trial," he said.

As for the suspect, the threat of criminal punishment from Article 80 paragraph 3 is a maximum of 15 years in prison.

"And we also suspect it with the planning article. Later we will prove it in court, whether it is proven that the murder is really premeditated or not," he said.
