The Atmosphere In Front Of Mako Brimob Kwitang Looks Normal, Traffic Smooth

JAKARTA - Conditions around the Mobile Brigade Command Headquarters (Moko), Kwitang, Central Jakarta were observed to be conducive to traffic flow that appeared normal and smooth, on Monday afternoon.

Seen at the location at 15.00 WIB, the traffic flow in front of Mako Brimob from Tugu Tani towards Senen Station and vice versa was smooth and occasionally crowded with vehicles.

Several Brimob officers were seen guarding the entrance gate of the headquarters building. A number of trucks and tactical vehicles were also parked near the Mobile Brigade Headquarters. In addition, it was also observed that the TNI officers were guarding a number of points around the Tani Monument.

The activities of local residents have also returned to normal, including street vendors who sell on the side of the road. Several TNI personnel even seemed to buy drinks from traders around the Mobile Brigade Headquarters.

The condition of the sidewalk around Mako Brimob is cleaner than before. The scribbles that previously filled the Mako Brimob gate have also been cleaned. However, the cleaning staff looks still cleaning up the remains of garbage in the building around the area.

Previously, firefighters had sprayed Jalan Soldier KKO Usman and Harun in front of Mako Brimob Kwitang, Central Jakarta, with water to remove the remains of tear gas.

"Proposals to remove the remaining tear gas," said an officer while cleaning the road.

The road was struck by firefighters assisted by members of the TNI who were on guard in the area.

Officers used four fire engines to clean up the remaining tear gas that was still stuck on the road.
