JAKARTA - The police are investigating the looting at the house of DPR member Eko Hendro Purnomo or Eko Patrio on Jalan Karang Asem 1, Kuningan, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, which occurred on Saturday, August 30, 2025.

South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly explained that currently his party is still conducting an investigation

"Still investigating," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly, Monday, September 1, 2025.

According to him, the investigation was carried out so that the perpetrators of the looting could be immediately arrested. His party also ensured a conducive atmosphere after the looting.

"At that time, a very large number of people came to the crime scene, over and over again in three waves carrying out vandalism and looting," said Nicolas.

As is known, on Saturday, August 30, 2025, there was a looting at the house of Deputy Chairman of Commission VI of the DPR Eko Patrio.

A number of household furniture, clothing, and electronic items were scattered, and the floor of the house was full of broken glass and windows from being thrown with hard objects.

Several people were seen transporting chairs, lights, chairs, suitcases, studio loudspeakers and mattresses out of the house.

Security officers and fully equipped officers on standby outside and inside the house were unable to do much when people continued to arrive.

The majority of these people claimed to know the location and looting of Eko Patrio's house from the distribution of live video broadcasts and also video footage spread across a number of social media channels.

Eko Patrio has become a public spotlight after uploading a parody video through his personal TikTok account @kopatriosuper featuring himself acting as a "discjokey" of horeg' music.

The video drew strong criticism from netizens because it was considered insensitive to community problems.
